The checkered cross is exactly like the name indicates, a checkered pattern of various hard and soft woods to create a colorful representation of Christ’s sacrifice for us. Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.”
Handcrafted large wooden wall cross Solid wood construction consisting of laminated strips of wood in an end grain checkerboard configuration. Made from exotic purple heart, exotic padauk, walnut, ash, hard maple, sapele, and red oak hard woods as well as cedar. Finished with polycrylic and paste wax buffed with “0000” steel wool to preserve the natural wood colors and provide a smooth finish. No dyes or stains were used
